“Beautiful view to the Old bridge”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 6, 2012

From this bridge which is located some 100 meters southern than the Old bridge you'll have one of the best views (as well as places to take photo from) to the Old bridge. Port bridge is nothing special, it was built in 1913, and rebuilt in 2004. On the east coast of next to the bridge you'll find a statue dedicated to Emina, girl from the most famous poem written by famous poet Aleksa Šantić.

“Lucki most”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 26, 2012

Named according to one of suburbs of Mostar (Luka). This bridge was built in 1913 during the Austro-Hungarian period. It is said that it was financed by most known mayor of Mostar Mujaga Komadina. When built this was the longest single span bridge. It spaned over Neretva with a length of 72 meters. Like all the other bridges this one was not spared. More exactly when the war began this bridge was the first one to go. 13 years later this bridge was rebuilt.

Very nice place to get a good picture of Old bridge. At the crossroads with Tito street you can see statue of Emina (famous girl who inspired (by her beauty) one of most famous poets of Mostar (Aleksa Santic) to write famous song Emina. You can visit in Svetozar Corovic house (department of Museum of Herzegovina - Tito street number 178) authentic room where this poet was spending time writing numerous songs. A few steps away is Santic park with his statue.
