“The best view during our 2 weeks Western Balkan trip was from our terrace of this hotel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 6, 2012

We loved the view over the old city of Mostar from the terrace, which was adjacent to our room (but also available to other guests). Probably the view from our terrace is one of the best in town, because the Motel Demadino is right besides the old town and the terrace is on the top 4 th floor. We enjoyed the view for hours while having a bottle of wine and a cigar in the warm October night. The room was a nice standard room with an excellent working A/C (split type). The shower cabin was a kind of small and its door flumsy. Parking is free. Breakfast was basic. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

We were very lucky and got the room with stunning old city view from our balcony. We could see minarets, the ricing moon from the mountains. It was so romantic. Hotel was clean, normally equiped, there is everything you need in the hotel. Owners were very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was good. Hotel has a closed parking area, where you can park your car without a problem. It takes only 2-3 minutes on foot to reach the Old City center and "Stary most". Location is central but enaugh quiet. Highly recomend.

We arrived in the early evening without a reservation got an apartment/flat for the price of a standard room. The energetic man at the desk flew up the stairs with our heavy bags. The place was very quiet. Breakfast included sardines, fruit yogurt, espresso, cheese, cold meat, muesli and some sort of chocolate cereal.

Perfectly located close to the Mostar bridge, clean, great breakfast with variety of food higher than expected for this price, room is big, has even oven and some some kitchen utensils, nice bathroom. Staff is very nice, parking is free

Room Tip: there is no lift so maybe it is better to be on the lower floors

First of all, this hotel is perfectly situated not even 5 minutes from the old bridge. Free parking - and not at all difficult to find. Our room was spacious and perfect for our needs. The air conditioning worked well which was a lifesaver due to the sweltering heat! The room even had a mini-kitchenette which we didn't use but it was nice to use the fridge to keep our waterbottles cold. Very clean.
The only slightly negative thing I would point out would be the lack of an elevator. We were on the top floor of this tall hotel and it was a bit of a struggle to lug our bags all the way up. Good exercise though! Price was correct (97km or 50€) though not a steal and probably driven by the fact that Mostar has become quite he tourist destination. We would stay at Motel Demandino again.

Suggest you print a map, but we didn't bother so we drove around hoping to see it, but if you stay on the Western side of the river and follow signs to the old bridge you will probably find it.
Situated less than 5 mins walk from the bridge in a very good position. The hotel has a good free car park. Our room No. 305 was on the top floor (no lift) with access to a large terrace with tables, chairs and a great view over the town and valley. The manager was very helpful even saving us 15 Euros by changing the room from a triple booked by the agency to a double which is all we needed. Room was basic, clean and had a kitchenette. Free wifi was a bonus. Breakfast was OK with basic buffet. We would happily come here again.

We stayed here in September and we loved it. Our room was very clean and very comfortable. We stayed in an two floor apartment room, which was great! Best to ask the staff for more details on the apartment as the narrow stairs to the second floor could be difficult for some people to manage. The staff were friendly and helpful. We quite liked the breakfast, cereal and condiments as you eat so many different foods when travelling its good to have a proper breakfast. It is only a very short walk to the old town with restaurants on the way. Some of the best service we have received on our 3 month trip.

Room Tip: The apartment room is a good option if you are looking for more than a standard 'motel' room
