We arrived at the Hotel after a long drive in from Sarajevo. The girl at the desk, after checking for our reservation, was called over by an older woman at a desk across the room. The girl then came back and told us she didn't have a room for us. I showed her a copy of my registration papers then she walked back across the room, talks to the older woman again, then comes back and tells us she'll help us find a hotel someplace else. As an African-American my bigot-radar went immediately into high alert…..but I decided to let it ride….because the girl had been so kind. My sense is that the "older lady" behind the desk was calling the shots and if you don't fit her mental image of the "right kind of people" it's thumbs down and you'll be sent packing…..regardless of if you've booked in advance or not.

I highly recomend this hotel because of a pleasant and nice family atmosphere. Hotel is in great location and has a great designed rooms with perfect view on the river. Great and frendly stuff with all information about city and places to visit. I would definetly use this hotel again next time in Mostar!

I would highly recommend this hotel. It's close to the bus stop if you're coming from another town (a five minute walk). Also, it's a few minutes away from the historic sights. The staff is nice and the hotel is quiet. We got the suite since we wanted to have access to a kitchen.

The only negative two things that I can say are:

1) They allow smoking in the dining area. Just try to choke down your food while someone is smoking.
2) The breakfast is mostly condiments. With butter, nutella, cheesy spreads, liver spreads, yogurt spread, mayonnaise, etc..., it was bit confusing. There were a lot of spreads, but nothing much to put them on except for some stale bread. Breakfast is included - feel free to skip it. You won't be missing much.

this great boutique style hotel is great place to stay while visiting Mostar. Very convenience location, cozy, great, speciaous rooms, nicely designed, with a balcony, with a perfect view on the river. Great stuff, freindly, and with all important information about city, what to see, where to go.
Dont miss the perfect breakfest with a varity of food, and local speciailty which will keep every stomack really full. My stay was more then pleasent, and if U get there U will be happy as well. Highly recommended!

Room Tip: try to get rooms facing the river, great view and well sized balcony!

The hotel is a mixture between apartments and hotels; as we were with a group, we got to see both. The apartment on the top floor is beautiful, with two double beds and a terrace, but the rest of the hotel is very nice too. Just be warned that there is no elevator and hence quite a lot of stairs if you end up on the upper floors - though the staff will bring suitcases up for you.
Breakfast is lovely, even including cheeses.
My wife fell ill and needed a doctor and the hotel staff went out of their way to prod them on into coming soon, and at midnight, even went to the pharmacy to get the medication! And this personal touch applied to all people working there.
The hotel's location is central, which is another good thing, but you can only park nearby (about 100 yards away) as this is a pedestrian zone. We would definitely use this hotel again next time in Mostar!

After a 12 hour drive from Prinstina, Kosovo, arriving at Hotel Pellegrino was truly a welcome sight. Admir (the host on duty upon atrival) took great care to insure a quick check-in and provided wonderful instructions on how to find the Mostar Bridge and a place that would provide a dinner at 10 pm. The room was immaculate, cool, nicely appointed and all amenities were in working order. There is no lift, so he carried my bags to the 4th (top) floor. The dinner recommendation was exceptional - traditional food at a very reasonable price and a complimentary aperatif. The bridge is an easy five minute walk from the hotel with plenty of other interesting sights along the way. The breakfast was really a stand-out with the usual fare but also a lot of fresh fruit and vegetables in season. I felt the value for money was exceptional. I would go there again, and would suggest anyone traveling to Mostar to consider this lovely little hotel.
