You enter this site near the Greek amphitheater, pass the ancient ruins, see the Roman ruins, navigate the medieval period, and enjoy the 21C rebuilt Cathedral.
Not the biggest "wow factor" attraction but beautiful, interesting, and serene. There were hundreds of visitors but the site is large and you often feel alone, absorbed in the past.
Bring water etc, there are no concessions within the complex.
