This restaurant sits on a hill overlooking Pristina, so at night you have a great view of the city lights. (Make a reservation to get a table by the windows.) The food is Italian-style, as you might guess from the name, and is quite good. I had the Chicken Pinocchio, which was a grilled chicken breast atop a pile of what seemed to be freshly made spinach pasta, in a cream sauce. Beware the bread and cheesy spreads that you receive before the meal, however, because they are delicious and you'll be tempted to eat everything, leaving no room for the food that you've ordered. The salads and soups also are very nice. The cost is generally low. Pinocchio also has a fairly wide selection of wines -- including good-quality Italian wines at a fair price -- by the bottle. There seems to be outdoor seating available in summer. Folks do smoke in this restaurant, but it's a large place so it's not really bothersome.
