We arrived quite early so only a few tables were taken. You would have believd that this meant that the restarant would have capacity to deliver a great service. It did not. We started by ordering drinks. The Vranac Pro Corde we were served was way too hot and we sent it back. The replacement wine was less warm, but honestly was still unsatisfactory. But we just had a straining climb to the Kotor Fortress walls and settled for a slightly inferior wine just to get something on the table. We were nine, and two ordered a starter. Local ham and cheese (Njeguski Prsut and Sir) should not take more than 10 minutes. After 45 minutes we said that if it was not served in 10 minutes, we would leave. I was served shortly after and was OK. After another 10 minutes, we said the same reg. all of our main courses (none had arrived yet), and they started coming in exactly one hour after we placed our order. But... My wife's medium beef steak was 90% raw (I will post photos when I get back to a PC, and you will see that I am not exaggerating), my T-bone was bland, the kid's pizzas were bland, the seasonal salad was bland, and so on on and so on. We ended up asking for the manager and agreed to pay for our drinks and left. Our friends have been coming to Montengro for 8 years and tell us that this was their worst restaurant experience here. My best guess is that they forgot our order, and instead of admitting to the mistake and maybe compensating us somehow, they tried to make up / catch up by rushing our order through. Had they just told us they made a mistake, given us a starter, some drinks or something like that, I would have written it off as a under par experience and not bothered to write this review. But as they tried to cover it up, I took the time. In short... Don't go! (could I rate under "1", I would)
