“Very good!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 5, 2012

We spent only one day in the hotel. The room was small but very clean and cosy. The bathroom is very large. One thing which is not so positive is the destination from the city center, you need to walk a bit or use a taxi. In the evening we went to the bar on the last floor of the hotel and saw all night city. We had a good breakfast. And servise there was not bad.

The Soviet-built hotel, but made very good impression. The location is very convenient for both tourists and businesspople, in fron of park and in 5 minutes by walk from main street. The hotel is in very quite area. The staff wqs very polite and friendly, spoke perfect Russian Imany people in Western Ukraine decline to speak Russian) and English. The room was not big and equipped with very basic furniture, but interestingly decorated. The vies from the bar on the upper floor is just great, I went there every day to enjoy it. The breakfast was one of the best I have ever had in hotels with lots of local cusines. Overall I would be happy to come back.

Nice rooms and reasonable prices. View is fine, staff are hospitable and helpful, there is a parking place, excellent buffet breakfast. Everything is recently refurbished. Location is quite OK, close to the Market Sq.

Wonderful, full service hotel in the heart of Lviv with easy access to a lovely well maintained park with many amenities such as a playground, cafe, table tennis, badminton. Terrific views, great breakfasts, quiet, well appointed rooms.
Only disappointment was the absence of Ukrainian from their national literature, currently published only in English and Russian.

Room Tip: The higher the better, ask for one facing the park.

A nice friendly hotel with a great view over the park and the old town. Relatively small rooms but perfectly adequate for 2 people. Breakfast quality could be more uniform but good overall.

We are very satisfied with service quality and staff friendliness.

Room Tip: Be aware that rooms are relatively small.

I'll touch on some highlights after a 3-night stay. The security is as high as I've ever seen for a hotel. Your key is required for the elevators and for passage between hall floor sections. And guys with ear plugs are always in evidence. If you are security-minded, this is the place for you. The rooms are a bit tight but comfortable, very clean and with modernistic furnishings. A minus is the lack of facial tissue, a usual staple in any hotel. The top floor has a "Panorama Bar" True to its name the city view is great. But the interior setting is basic with plain tables and chairs. The liquor variety is slim. (But that seems to be true in most Ukraine hotels.) One bad experience: this evening the bar had no ice. Not the way I like my gin. The bar situation could be described as "adequate." The highlight is the complimentary breakfast. No simple bagels and fruit bowl. It is a very large and complete buffet. A real treat to begin your morning! No complaints about the staff or the lobby. The hotel's shortcomings are trivial compared to its merits. I would stay there again.

Room Tip: I have none.

Found the hotel a little bit dated but the friendly staff and good food made up for that. Breakfast was excellent, rooms were ok and clean. The view from the bar at the top of the hotel was spectacular.
