I wonder how people may compare the canteen with junk food which are sold in a places like McDonalds. There're nothing like each other. The whole menu is prepared from natural ingredients. As far as I know there're two Puzata Hata canteens in Lviv. The first one is located behind the national university of Ivana Franko, the second one's been opened on the Shevchenko square. I've been to the both of them and I really like the first one. Assuredly, the atmosphere in the first one differs from another one. First of all the menu in the canteen which is located on the street Sichovykh Striltsiv has much more diversity of traditional delicious dishes and also has huge space inside. Actually, the atmosphere in the old canteen had been turned into suburban style. The decoration might remind you an Ukrainian village whereas in the new canteen it has some cheap and boring furniture. Initially, the idea was that this place had been supposedly to attract some poor students and workers from nearby. Undoubtedly, the place isn't meant to be for dates between two people who have just fell in love. Your girlfriend won't be impressed there. Nevertheless If you're planning to visit Lviv I'd definitely recommend you visiting the place once. In addition to whenever I was there, it was always fresh food and crowded inside.
