Wonderful location next to the famous St. James Cathedral.
Professional and friendly staff that was all the time invisible at our side, very pleasant.
The wines were good and our waiter could explain them very well, we only missed our favorite sparkling "Misal" from Istria, but we had a nice sparkling Rosé from Italia. After this a really good "R 5" from Bibich...yummy
The food is marvelous and all homemade, with some really nice ideas.
The octopus salad was made with red kraut, very tasty and not the normal stuff that we found x times during our visits in Croatia. The ham was one of the best we tasted and a small plate of cheeses was really delicious - local cheeses and a homemade pepper and caramel marmelade (super cool !! ). After this we had a very tasty teriyaki octopus toast and a well made risotto.
The desert was marvelous, a very good lemon cake and the splendid "Country Glas" (Olive oil mousse, melon jam, almond biscuit in a glas layered like a B52).
One of the big shots and rising stars in Croatia, no doubt!
Be there, taste it, enjoy!
By the way, some directories list this restaurant as a place for breakfast, but it opens at 12 we were told.
