5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 10, 2014

Good clean room with balcony. The staff were all really friendly and helpful, nice pool and they had the best breakfast we've had in Croatia. From what we had read there is not much hotel accommodation in the old town of Zadar so we were happy to stay in this area.

a practical hotel for staying in Zadar. Its not in the old town, but is an easy bus ride or taxi away. The rooms are fresh, with balconies, so a good stop for washing vlother to dry on the balcony while you explore the old town. Excellent swimming ppol. The bathroom is smallish, but fine.

Easy to find. Free parking. Very welcoming staff. NO ELEVATOR so plan accordingly with luggage. Lots of steps. Some distance from the historic center but with a car the four or so miles is not a problem. Rooms are clean and bright but fairly austere.

Room Tip: No elevator and visits to historic center requires transportation or a vigorous 4 mile walk.

This is a great hotel, just a 40knr taxi ride from the old town. It is quiet, clean and the staff are just so helpful and friendly. There are steps to the hotel, no lift inside, but the staff were quick to move our cases. The breakfast was first class with a member of staff on hand to show you around the tables of hot and cold food, cereals, teas and coffees. For the size of the hotel the selection was excellent. The rooms were clean and comfortable and WiFi was available.
Would I visit again? Most certainly!

Even though we only stayed one night we could not have had better service. We arrived early but our rooms were ready. Beautiful room with a small balcony with sea view. Our cases were carried up to our rooms for us. There is a new pool and they are landscaping a garden area. The breakfast was excellent, even at 7.30 am items were constantly being replenished. It is a little bit out of Zadar but easy journey in our hire car with excellent directions from staff.

Room Tip: A room overlooking the pool will be quieter.

We really enjoyed our stay here for three nights. This is a family run hotel and they made us feel welcome. There is no lift but the staff volunteered to take our suitcase up the stairs for us. The breakfast buffet was excellent. We also ate there and took up the offer of the set menu on two nights for 90kns approximately (£10) for three courses which we enjoyed but there is also a la carte. We enjoyed the house red very much which we were told was made from the owners grapes, this was approximately £4+ for half a litre. We were also served with complimentary grappa at the end of the meal. There was a local family celebrating a baptism on the Sunday which gave a lovely atmosphere with musicians wandering about playing and singing Croatian songs. We thought the hotel was situated in a very nice area and would certainly come again.

Room Tip: We were given a room at the back as we had asked for a quiet room.

Stayed two nights here and were impressed with helpfulness of staff especially Valerija on reception, who, even though we arrived quite late, was able to organise gluten-free bread for my wife's breakfast the following morning. Big comfortable bed! Staff also happy to offer suggestions on places to see while travelling. We taxied to the Old Town for dinner, just 40 kuna each way. Unfortunately we were just a week or so too early to splash in the smart new pool. Most people would be happy to stay and return to Mediteran hotel; we certainly would.
