Perfect location in the heart of the ancient town and 3 min walk to the the sea organ & the sun greeting. Breakfast Togo which is delivered to your room or you can make it by yourself in the kitchen (in case you will leave early in the morning). Helpful and very friendly staff. Easy to find & everybody knows it.

The overall experience was overwhelming, starting from smooth online booking and "by-the-book" email/text confirmation. I asked if my 2yo westy could stay with me in a twin room and got a welcoming confirmation within minutes.

Comfortable room with minimalist, yet stylish design offers what matters the most: vibrant white sheets, soft pillows and good quality matterasse, clean bathroom and unexpected spectacular view to roman Forum, including symbol of Zadar, st. Donat. Room is extremely functional with electricity plugs where you need them, handy shelves and free WiFi access.
Breakfast is mainstream - pastry, eggs, bacon, fruit, cornflakes, good coffee and juices. If you crave for a more fancy meal, it is easy to get it in the cafes in the neighbourhood.

The challenges for every guest is to remember to draw the curtains down to protect your privacy, as passers-by can see into your bed, if you are staying on 1st or 2nd floor. 3rd floor has a better privacy status. :)

Also, if you like sleeping with windows open, you might have problems with noise of late night crowd. However, closing the window eliminates the noise almost 100% and air-condition is operated manually, so you can manage your preferences.

I strongly recommend this for both wanderers and explorers as well as to business people visiting Zadar on business, if you are being reasonable about your travel expenses. Personally, I prefer to spend more on food and drinks than on bed&breakfast. And having a 4* service at hostel prices is an excellent deal, IMHO. :)

Boutique Hostel Forum is definitely my choice for future stays in Zadar.

Room Tip: Chose 3rd floor for more privacy and choose a black room if you are looking for a sexy experience as...

This is a hostel, but it has a hotel floor on the top floor. This is the funkiest, the coolest hotel room I have ever stayed in and even though it is tiny, it is still functional and and a delight to stay in. The location is unbeatable as well, right smack in the middle of everything. Loved the staff and the helpful attitude during the whole stay.

If all hostels become like this one, hotels will be in serious trouble :-)!

In the name of everlasting love I'm dropping this review early.

Fantastic hostel and very clean. Location is as good as is gets in the old town although it is about 15 mins to the bus depot. Cabs only cost ya 20/25kn. Minutes from the ferries though.

Funky place with a different set up. Lounge area is really cool although didn't see too many people hanging out there. Time of year I suppose.

The rooms are set up really cool with bunk bed styles, lockers key card locking and a small bathroom/ shower in each. Although the bathroom is fine, I found the shower area too small. No shelves in it and really tiny. However, its hard to complain about that given the modern rain drop style shower head option.

There is a kitchen but not a stove or oven, just toaster oven/ microwave. Great little breakfast delivered in the morning too.

The staff were fantastic, even complimenting on things like haircuts ha.

Final thoughts: Worth the stay for sure. At the price a great deal in Croatia. Wow.

We really hit a home run with this hostel. We booked online, primarily on price and previous reviews. When we actually arrived there we were beyond impressed.

A) The price is amazing. For 21 Euros a night you can't go wrong.
B) The staff is helpful, friendly, and accomodating. All speak excellent English, and upon arrival you get a little "cheat sheet" full of Croatian phrases, things to do, etc.
C) The security is great. The front desk is manned 24/7, and each guest gets a prox card that will open their door and ONLY their locker under their bed.
D) The aesthetic of the property is unique. Very trippy and modern. The beds have pull-down shades to block the light and create you a little "cocoon." Each bed also has a power outlet and reading light. There are shelves, hooks, and chairs in the room to air out clothing/change easier.
E) Location is excellent. The windows look right out over the Adriatic, St. Donatus church, and the attached tower.
F) You get a discount at the bar if you mention you're a guest.

My only gripe was with the size of the shower, but I'm a large guy. It just felt a little cramped to me.

I can't reiterate enough how great our experience here was. We will most definitely be back.

Room Tip: They're all good. If you have the bucks, go with a mini-suite on the top floor!

I really enjoyed staying in this hostel. The design in modern and unique. The bed is super comfy but the area is quite narrow. The TV room is very nice. The kitchen is clean. The toilet and bathroom are good. They will send the breakfast in front of your door in the morning which I think is very cool.

I love everything.

Thank you
