I am little disapointed. I have been here with my boyfriend for New year's eve. We have been there for three days. Hotel has very good location, just 2 minutes walk to the main square. That's wonderfull. Rooms and the hotel are fain decoreted, but our room was a bit small and very dark and we looked at some old spoky buildings. But we came to visit something so we didn't care about it. The reason why I am disapointed is stuff. We haven't felt comfortable. We payed for two diners. It was "a'la card". Dinners cost us 13 € per person each evening. You can choose whatever you want, but there is the trick. There is no special card for hotel guests so dont't know how much you have to pay even if you payed dinners already because it's not everything included. It would be ok if weither told us that. First night ( it was New Year's eve) we could choose between meals in card or special menu od 4 courses for 200 kunas. Luckily, we didn't choose that menu, because it wasn' t included in our payed dinners. First night we didn't pay anything, but atmosphere in a restarant hasn't been comfortable. We were listening argue of staff all night and it is not profesional. But we were very happy and it was New Year's eve so we didn't care. In the morning, we have breakfast. Even if they knew that guest will sleep a litlle bit longer because they probbably have been out longer, half an hour before the end of breakfast (at 10 o' clock), there were 4 of 5 tables and one on two slice of salami and cheese on buffet. On dinner, came the bigest disapiontment. My boyfriend wanted to go out on dinner and impress me. But we stayed at hotel because of payed dinners so we chose some meals and we knew that we will have to pay something, but not that much. He had taken a plate of proscuito, a soup and juice, and I had taken a soup, Gnochi "Galija" (with masrooms, cheese and proscuito) and juice. It was very nice. But waiter didn't wait us to finish our meals, she brougt us a bill and it was 130 kunas (about 17 €). We have already payed 26€ for two dinners before wecame at Pula so were surprised that just the soups aren't on bill so they were included in that two dinners which are payed before comming. 26€ for two beef soups? Really?
And at the and, third days when we were checking-out, we got our ID and good bye. No bill for the room, no "have a nice trip"... A recepcionist did't ask if we are satisfied with our stay, she did't tell us to come again or somthing simular.
All in all, my trip in Pula was nice but that things ruined our trip a little, but although we are happy. So , if you're comming to Pula, choose some other place to stay.More
