This place was once super as were all of the Hotels that catered to the Rich of the Austro-Hungarian Empire. A few wars, Tito and lack of major investment has it a tad run down. The carpets on our floor and room looked recently replaced. Breakfast was OK. Coffee was not good. Its walkable to all the sites and a great spot if you are coming into town for a concert at the Arena. BRING Bug Repellant. The hotel is across from a lot of often still water so lots of mosquitoes. Our room had a cool balcony, no AC, don't bother with the TV. Desk staff was efficient and business like. They are not the ones to ask about what to do, see or where to eat. WiFi works in public areas only. Outdoor Terrace for Breakfast was quite nice. Lots of smokers (but that keeps the flies away)
