We enjoyed our leisurely drive along the Peljisac Peninsula, past the "Great Wall of Croatia" at Ston, through the vineyards and wineries to the short ferry trip to Korcula. I probably can't do justice to the beautiful vistas en route, of ocean and sky and lighthouse, and islands large and small. The old town is small, not much to see, and the connection to Marco Polo a bit tenuous, but it is beautiful and charming nonetheless. We very much enjoyed drinking great Croatian wine and watching the moon rise over the bay at a restaurant in the old town.
