Not that you need to run from the Hotel but I was there for work so it was great to learn that with a 15 minute stroll I could get away from "the office", sit back & relax! Frozen beer that only out done by the tasty pizza (I know & I'm from NYC)!
Superb location, beautiful scenery with some nice restaraunts with views of the bay.
The water is great for swimming and water sports, especially snorkelling.
Looked like an interesting place to visit and wanted to go to the 'Fish and Meat Restaurant' but it was closed as we went on Sunday! Quite a busy main street to the sea with lots of bars and restuarants. Quite touristy and not particularly 'Croatian'
Marvelled at the ingenuity when planning to supply water to the area. Onofrio is famous because he was the builder of the water supply to the city.
if you want to getaway from the hustle and bustle of the old town then this is the place to be, there is a nice shaded walking path with plenty of restaurants and a nice park for children to play. There is also a pebble beach and a walk around the sea which we enjoyed in the evening. There is a also a supermarket called Tommy.
