“interesting but not fascinating”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed February 14, 2013

i bought the 7 day Dubrovnik card so i had a"free"look, there were some great objects and furniture here although the artwork was largely nothing special, lovely satsuma wear jardinieres and chinese porcelain vases, french?table clock was exceptional as was a 17c Naples cabinet on a stand. Definately worth a visit.

“Tasteful and interesting”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 13, 2013

I dragged two of my "non-museum" friends to the Rector's Palace, and even they enjoyed it. Beautiful items and great exhibition style.

“Cultural context”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 1, 2013

The Rector's Palace gives a glimpse into the architecture and art in a Gothic/Baroque building. You get to see the furnishings and ecclesiastical art. While not a very unique collection s is does give some idea of upper class life in Dubrovnik.

A nice quick visit where you can see some of the art and artefacts from the history of Dubrovnik. Definitely worth a visit.

“Don't expect much that is special.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed November 23, 2012

If you are staying more than one day in Dubrovnik then it is worth visiting. If you have one one day in the Old Town there are more interesting things to do such as going in and out of the narrow streets, walking on the city walls, taking a boat trip around the city walls, having a coffee in one of the Stradun cafes, etc.
