Firstly I would like to state that I stayed here last year also. I would like to say that Nevenka at the pool and Lido bar is a treasure. She is so nice and helpful. Lovely lady! The staff were nice especially those at the hotel resturant, Sedna. Niko waited on us most of the times we ate there and he is so professional and polite. I have to say that since 2011 the breakfast buffet improved slightly. It filled us up until lunch and what more can you want. The staff at the buffet, Camil, in particular was polite and friendly. The hotel entertaiment was good but some nights too many golden oldies were played and it became a bit boring for younger patrions. When we were there in 2011 it was quieter and more couple orientated. This year however it was swamed with families and children and not half as quiet as before. This obviously is not the hotels fault but be prepared for noise, boistrous goings on and a greater occupency at the pool area on a daily basis. It seems to of changed completely from couples to families. In general I found Dubrovnik busier this year. The cleaners did a fabulous job on a daily basis. The hotel was spotless. We had a bigger room this time around, and a balcony. I believe that asking for a sea view and not getting it is common, (happened to us in 2011), but we emailed the hotel a few days prior to our arrival and we got a sea view. This is not definitive as the will tell you in the email, I think its simply the luck of the draw. The hotel itself is in a great location. Great bars and resturants nearby and the number 6. bus to Babin Kuk is only 7 mins walk away. Its a beautifully located hotel, with friendly polite staff, basis amenities and lovely views.
