“Talk about the best view in Town!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 30, 2013

Stayed at the brand new royal princess hotel, and the view is something to talk about as it could be the best hotel view i have experienced. All new, great location, amazing beach, amazing food and staff of course were top notch. Think the entire resort was very well thought through and this could be felt and seen. We would definitely recommend the royal princess hotel area of the resort. Thanks again to all the staff and we will be back ! :)

Room Tip: seaview is a must for the room.

What an amazing hotel. We were on the third floor with a stunning sea view. The room/suite was brilliant. Everything was to hand. The room was spotless, cleaned everyday day to an exceptional standard. Hotel staff were extremely polite and couldn't do enough for you. The food at the hotel was amazing. The only thing I would say is that they should vary the menu for both breakfast and dinner, but there are many top class restaurants around the area so we wern't to bothered. I would deffinatley go back! Highly recommended for couples.

Room Tip: Choose a sea view room. You wont regret it!

Dubrovnik keeps on getting better and better. We choose the Royal Princess hotel since it's located in the best area of Dubrovnik to spend the day swimming/lounging. The rooms were amazing. The bathrooms were huge and the furniture was new and gorgeous.
We took a taxi to the old town and it was a quick ride. We choose to eat dinner back at the hotel instead of in the old town. Good choice :)!
Our kids loved it here as much as my wife and I did. The water is crystal clear and it's a quick jump into the Adriatic sea from our room. The hotel has pools all around the resort, indoor and outdoor. This hotel is for everyone ... family, couples, friends.
Service and food were great. The SPA is heaven. Babysitters for our kids were the best.
Will definitely be staying again in the Royal Princess.

Room Tip: Pick a room with the sea view.

Lucky us were upgraded to this hotel as our room at the Ariston wasn't ready when we arrived. Our arrival was very early so we did not expect to be upgraded and were happy to wait. Anyway the suite was beautiful, huge comfy bed, two bathrooms one with a walk in shower and all spotlessly clean. The sea view from the balcony was amazing, watching the sun go down in the evening while getting ready for dinner was breathtaking. Used the lovely spa in the hotel several times also. Lovely outdoor saltwater pool with lots of beds. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and also spoke perfect English, nothing was too much trouble. The only slight criticism was the menu at La Castile never changed during the week and also the buffet breakfast never had anything different on it during the whole week. Apart from that it was fantastic and we would not hesitate to go back to the hotel. The location of the hotel was very good with the lovely cliff walk to Lapad and a two minute walk to the bus stop for the bus to Dubrovnik. We had a fabulous time here and are looking forward to our next visit.

Room Tip: Definitely try to get a sea view room higher up for the best views. Also, if you have a garden view...

We have just returned from our first holiday in Dubrovnic. We stayed at The Royal Princess Hotel which is fantastric. Great location, great walks, and on the regular bus route into the old port area. The rooms are to die for with the best sea views I have experienced. All the staff are brilliant and speak English very well. The down side in my opinion is that the food is 3 star and there is no evening entertainment.

Room Tip: sea view room brilliant and a must.

Amazing views, fantastic rooms, wonderful breakfast. Would not hesitate to recommend. Great location, quiet, lovely walk to the pools (salt water, cleaned and water changed daily) and into Lapad. Room are very clean. Lobby is beautiful. Lots of great places to relax and enjoy the view. Close to old town, 15-20 mins by bus. Service was great. I used the spa for a manicure and it was great. Would love to return!

An investment Group of Croatia (after building some malls in Zagreb) purchased 4 hotels next to each other in Lapad/Dubrovnik (plus a super luxury villa for rent...) and refurbishedit them to one of the best palce to stay in Dubrovnik/Lapad. (Don't forget: Lapad is not "part" of the old town of Dubrovnik -you have to take a bus or taxi to get there in 20-30 minutes ride).
I still wonder, how this "starter" in this business could accumulate so much knowledge in demand and managment of running hotels.
All the designs up to the last details, the taste, the location, the services: all are up to the highest niveau.
One has to take in account, that all costs of Dubrovnik are built on rocks, - thus no sandy beaches, no spacy resting places right on the beach can be found. Once you noted this: you can only love the crystal-clear water. which you can enter by ladders, or by a jump.
The breakfast is one of the best you can imagine.
The waiters in the breakfast romms can be teachers in any hotel-schools.
The cafeteria on the beach offers nice drinks and some basic food for lunch. You can have great food on one of the terraces right on the water in the evening.
All together: luxury.
In case I could give a recommendation: do not charege for the additional beds the same price, as you do for the luxurious beds (we stayed with kids in an apartment, where the kids could slepp on a sofa - and were charged with"full" prices.
