“Super food, good value.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 13, 2013 via mobile

We stayed at the Bellevue Hotel, which serves great, but somewhat pricey food. We were delighted to discover Magellan, just a short walk up the hill, where the food is delicious but half the price! I enjoyed their seafood pasta sauce and the grilled squid. My husband loved the pizza slovenska and the grilled chicken. The panna cotta was light and creamy and the chocolate fondant was to die for. Service was efficient and polite and the atmosphere relaxed. Customers included many locals, which is always a good sign! We went almost every day during our week in Dubrovnic.

“A Bargain!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 6, 2013

This modern restaurant only a couple of minutes walk from Hotel Lero. The pizzas were amazing (and huge) - the chocolate souffle an absolute must! Compared to restaurant prices in the Old Town this provided marvellous value for money.

“Great value for money, excellent quality food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 5, 2013

This was a real find in Dubrovnik - much better value for money than the restaurants in the Old Town and the quality of the food was amazing too. Would particularly recommend the Chocolate Souffle, plus the Vegetarian Lasagne was bubbling, homemade and straight out of the oven, even brought to our table by the Chef himself, complete with his Chef's whites. What's more, the waiter was also very friendly and gave us lots of recommendations for what to eat and drink. In the heat of the Summer, which can get unbearable in the Old Town, the location of this restaurant also offered more of a breeze and a break from the stifling heat and was also noticeably much more spacious. Would highly recommend this place - add it to your holiday 'to do' list!

“Handy if you're staying in Rixos”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 5, 2013

If you're staying in Rixos you'll probably be saying stunning hotel but more average food. Well this is the answer. For less than the cost of two sambos with drinks for lunch you can have a starter, main and drinks. Even if you're not staying locally it is well worth a visit for good food and excellent service.

Yes, and the chocolate fondant...
