“The best location, a great place to meet travellers!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 15, 2014

As far as Dubrovnik goes, this place is a steal! Located perfectly in the city walls, the prices are low and standards are high! I must say, it's not for the traveller looking for a quiet few days. This place does entail some serious partying!

But it's such good fun, great staff, clean beds, showers, linen and towels. Great place to base yourself as central to all sights of interest.

Amazing location in the old town

Hostel was great, good facilities for a place with breakfast, tea/coffee/juice provided, excellent service, a really nice atmosphere. Not many bunks to a room and the rooms were quite big (our room slept 4) Clean and nice rooms, lovely building, there were lockers, bathrooms clea but shared. The place had an old charm to it. Very good price. Oh and plenty of sockets for phones/laptops as well.

Would recommend to anyone looking for that type of backpacking/dorm hostel place.

Perfect place to stay in the centre of the city, clean, bright, good value dormitories with outside bathrooms, communal kitchen-breakfast room with helpful staff.

Well restored with plenty of character by a couple of Croatian brothers. My young nephews liked it too when they stayed there later.

Ooops that was back in August 2011, off TripAdvisor's current calendar. I'd return again.

We found this hostel by chance as our first choice was completely full. We were given advice to check out Old Town Hostel, and we had a great stay! It was a bit hard to find since we didn't have the exact address but we asked a friendly shop owner who directed us there. We got a private room on one of the top floors and we had a great view of the city walls out our window. The furniture and decor is very cute with exposed stone walls and white vintage bed frames. The common area/kitchen is small, but cozy. There are snacks and coffee available throughout the day. The wi-fi did not work in our rooms and stopped working in the common area the next day, other travelers complained of the same issue- however, there was one computer in the common room that had internet that we could share to get what we needed. There was a clothesline outside our window and we were able to wash and hang dry our clothes very easily. Showers had plenty of hot water and bathrooms were clean. There was an affordable restaurant just across the main walkway that we went to twice. When we checked out, the hostess allowed us to leave our bags there as our bus to the next destination didn't leave until later in the day- this was so helpful and we really appreciated it. Overall we had a great experience here and we would recommend it to others looking to stay in the old town.

A nice hostel in the old town. Big dorms very clean! Could do with separate bathrooms and showers but its an old building so maybe not possible. I liked that the beds had individual lights. Also a small but well equipped kitchen. Friendly and helpful staff

Title says it all. Amazing location just meters away from the main street. Great common room for socializing and having a beer with fellow travellers. Nice spatious rooms. The beds were not the most comfortable mut still ok. Basic breakfast included in the price as well as coffee etc you can have at any time. Can save you a lot of money during the day which together with the cheap room prices makes the hostel great value for your money. Very friendly staff, especially the owner Mike. Thanks for the cool chat btw :) Hint: if he is around ask him to fix you one of his blazing cappucinos.
