Marco Polo is a pretty little restaurant, very romantic, and the food was on the whole very tasty.
My only real negative comments are that a) the waiter we had wasn't overly friendly - a bit cold towards us; b) my main was (basically) drunken whole scampi. The sauce was delicious but I only received 5 scampi....which when shelled isn't a big portion for a main, given the price; and c) we really fancied a pudding but after waiting for 30 minutes after the mains we still couldn't get anyone's attention so we decided to leave it and grab a local ice-cream on the way home!
However, the food we ate was all tasty and fresh. We had soup, fish, local cheese, vegetables etc and it all tasted great.
Cute little place, but perhaps some of the portions could have been bigger. Enjoyable all the same!
