Taking the early bus (8:30am) from Trogir we travelled to Sibenik and took a second local bus to Skradin. where we picked up a boat to visit the falls at Krka. Total cost around 80Kn plus park entrance fee. Well less than the 360Kn asked by local agents. A very easy journey to arrange yourself.
The park is a beautiful natural area which has been sympathetically developed to accommodate many tourists. The area is very pretty and falls even after three months of drought were impressive. Pathways made it very accessible, almost too accessible, but given that they have many tourists in summer, its a well managed and attractive park. Move away from the main tourist track and you are in completely untouched forest.
