If you were in Italy, this place would be called "trattoria" and that's exactly what it is.
Great choice of daily menus and you won't mistake taking any of them, trust me, I tried quite few times. It happens quite regulary that you have to wait for a free table, specially during lunchtime. Plenty of locals from neighbourhood come in for a lunch, so you have to be early, as it happens that restaurant runs out of food prepared for that day, but there is always another great choice.
Their fish menu is great and if you happen to be there on Friday, go and try "bacalar al bianco", dried cood fish made with garlic. Bacalar is one of famous fish imported from north Europe to most of Mediteranean countries and became very good local dish, from Portugal, Spain, France and Italy, but prepared a bit differently in each country.
Octopus, squid, beef tongue with capers, tuna "pasticada", veal "peka" are only few of dishes that I can recommend and you won't regret.
As I could see, they prepare food for parties as well, so if you live close by, or you're in town with yacht, or boat, call them and they will deliver.
What else can I say, but sit down and enjoy, I certainly will again, first oportunity I get.
