We went to this restaurant with a high expectation. Unfortunately it wasn't so good.
The fish was really delicious. But the vegetables were completely cold (I think they were supposed to be), no options of wine (and do not order the house wine, terrible), we started with a shrimp risotto that was ok, and, our table was inside and we leave smelling like we were sitting in the middle of the kitchen.
Recommend an outside table at least!

First, we would like to thank TripAdvisor & their support team for the recognition, by handling us the Certificate of Excellence for the second year in a row! And because this prominent web-page is so popular, our guest have high standards & expectations. It is an honor to be the first Konoba in Split and we will work even harder to satisfy our guests gastronomic taste. Sometimes however our guests have expectation we cannot meet, as in the end we are just a small family restaurant. Our pallet is not very wide but it is chosen with care & experience, our wines come from small family wineries which are pure in production, not industrial, so they can vary sometimes.. Vegetables are organic, coming from a local bazaar, and the way we serve them is room temperature, simply cooked half-way trough with a bit of sea salt and homemade olive-oil. For the comment on our ventilation we must say that this is a first complaint in 3 years, but we will make sure that it does not happen again. All the time we have people entering our place just because the smell drove them in, that 'home cooked food' smell, lunch your mother and grandmother used to cook on sunday for the whole family. Come and join in the friendly family atmosphere, and what we have, we have, at least you know its gonna be fresh. Cheers!
