Spent a week at the Mansion del Pensativo and adored it. Great location two blocks from the square, gorgeous garden and views, friendly service, luxurious accomodations, tasty breakfasts, and tranquil atmosphere. Try to get suites 1 or 4. Highly recommend this outstanding B&B. Can't wait to return.

I have stayed full weeks at the Pensativo in 2003, 2004 and 2005. This is one of my favorite small hotels - more like a deluxe B&B - in the world. The grounds are impeccable. The suites are luxurious and clean and the staff is attentive to all your needs. You are simply a guest in a very luxurious home and feel totally secure as well.

This home is the essence of feng shui and zen all wrapped up in one package. The gardens and plantings are extraordinary. The view of the volcano will overwhelm you.

It is centrally located to everything so it is easy to make walking excursions for shopping and dining.

The Pensativo is more expensive - spoil yourself - You will not be disappointed.

Wonderful small inn. The service is great and the grounds and pool are spectacular. We highly recommend it.
