We booked this hotel trusting the foto's on the internet giving a realistic idea of it. Helas, the foto's are still beautiful, our experience was certainly not.
The management is unskilled and at least not friendly, so was the personel at the reception. Chambermaids en bellboy were friendlier.
The shower was a place for fungus collectors. Fungus live here in every kind and color. This was probably the reason they never put in a working lightbulb, despite several requests.
The only positive thing was the location of the hotel; very central.
Time for a renovation and change of management.

We arrived in Antigua for the last three days of three months away, we had a little more money left than expected so looked for somewhere fairly nice to finish a wonderful trip. We then found Casa Azul. I instantly fell in love with it, the rooms were beautifully decorated, really cosy, the people were immensely friendly and helpful, and to top it off they had a lovely pool (quite cold though!), jacuzzi and sauna. Antigua is a beautiful, enchanting town and staying at Casa Azul really made it that bit more special. The breakfast is included in the price and is delicious.
