It is amazing how big that was! A church and a church museum with church ruins included: this is not the favorite activity for kids. But if you want to visit that kind of place, and there are a lot of them, visit San Francisco. Not that far away from there, go to see the old public laundry too.
Great photo ops, be sure to allow enough time to walk the entire property. There are many ruins in Antigua, this is one of the best.
The church & museum are well worth a visit, and the ruin-filled gardens are beautiful. The Hall of Miracles was the highlight for me.
Wonderful place to see the life and history of Hermano Pedro. We were even so fortunate to be there to celebrate the 10th Anniversary of his canonization with a beautiful Mass and festival.
