“Very good food, very nice prices”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 7, 2014

The food was great, and so was the price. I also like that the amount of food served made a lot of sense, not like in some other places you leave still hungry.

“If it ain't broke, don't fix it”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed May 5, 2014

the travel menu has new owners. They have, unfortunately, changed the menu and the staff. I had the steak sandwich-it was appallingly bad. It was not steak, it was the toughest piece of meat I have had, even here in Guatemala. The bun was toasted to the point of being inedible. My friend had the pasta dish, and her comment was "it was alright". the service was slow and the arrangement of the bar makes it even slower. the bar is long, and there is only one way for the bartender to move, thru the kitchen end, which means if you are sitting at the other end, which we were, he has to travel 20 meters to get an order, and the same to deliver-and that is if he happens to notice you would like another drink. this used to be my favourite lunch spot in Antigua. The food was good, the staff was friendly and responsive.
The new owners have made a horrible mistake with their changes. I shall not visit again unless the menu reverts.
Terrible shame.

“Simple food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 10, 2014 via mobile

They don't require you to think too much then cross your fingers. Small menu, prices are a bit much and space could use a couple of fans to keep air flowing, but, you should go here. It's nice at night, but come early. Had the lo mein, tasted the same as the first time. Nice staff, a good pit stop.

“Awesome food at moderate prices”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 24, 2014

This place quickly became my favorite restaurant in Antigua. While many western run places in Antigua offer similar food none does so at modest prices as Travel Menu did. In addition to great food you will find there friendly staff and even ambiance. Highly recommended.
