Our guide Miguel took us to this cafe, which overlooks the central park.
We had asked him that we wanted to eat some Guatemalan syle food.
We sat in the back room because it was very crowded during mid day in the front.
Three of our group had grilled chicken plate. It came with beans, rice, and some greens, plantain and corn tortillas and the" international "bunch of French fries. They all said it was delicious.
I had a bowl of pollo soup. I got a large bowl with big pieces of chicken in a tomato based broth. It was accompanied by a small plates of rice, and corn. Add to the soup and it it reminded me of soupa I have had up in the aldeas in Alta Verepas.Very tasty.
Fresh fruit punch served in soda shop syle glasses quenched our thrist.
but still need my coca cola light!
