Just been for early NYE dinner. Superb food, beautiful little restaurant, friendly and I highly recommend it. Great start to New Year's Eve!

“Wow, delicious”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 30, 2013

The roasted tomato appetizer is superb, as is the beef sandwich. Wines are reasonably priced. It's pricier than most of Guatemala, but the quality is excellent. Go earlier for dinner than you normally would because it's very small and gets crowded fast.

“Great Food and nice wine selection”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 25, 2013 via mobile

Definitely worth a visit. A bit more expensive then similar restaurants in Antigua, but a good night out. Its only a small place, so keep your eyes open.

“Great food... not enough staff...”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 24, 2013

Can't recommend highly enough from a food perspective... this was our favorite restaurant in Antigua Guatemala and wish we could stay longer so we could come back :-) The only downside was the inattentive service... the staff are just overworked/rushed because of the popularity of the restaurant... it is - quite frankly - amazing what comes out of the kitchen given the size of it...

The food was superb... all fresh and high quality... could not fault it at all... we had the tomato and gouda in olive oil and balsamic as an appetizer (absolutely delicious) and the pasta of day (superb/fresh pasta) with tomato/gorgonzola; this could not have been done better in a top restaurant in Italy! :-) and vegetable quiche with salad ... not the sort of thing we'd normally choose for dinner, but vegetarians are not greatly catered for in Guatemala, but having said that it was extremely good :-)

We also had the ice cream with black salt and olive oil - a bit melted by the time it got to us because of the slow service ;-) - but it was delicious all the same...

Everything else that we saw come out looked really good... so no complaints on the food at all... but maybe a few extra servers might help, so that you can get drinks out without having to wait 20 minutes for a replenishment! ;-)

“My best meal in Antigua!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 24, 2013

If you have the time and budget(25$) I strongly recommend this gem! Amazing food and good wine, if you go try the beef tenderloin with blue cheese sauce! Simply incredible!
