“Delicious French Food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 25, 2015

We learned about this resto through tripadvisor and it didn't disappoint. Quality french food and affordable prices. The atmosphere is romantic. We had the sea bass which was divine in flavour, beet salad and cauliflower au gratin - we saw the chef cook everything to order. The food we selected are great options for a lighter meal. Service was also excellent. We would definitely return!

“Great food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 29, 2015

What a gem this is. I have no idea where the chef trained but we had an excellent lunch here. The menu is French bistrot in the main, the wine list looks good and the ambience is very nice. I was surprised at how easy it was to get a table.

“Lovely Last-Night Small Meal!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 28, 2015

Our last night in Antigua, we were packed and ready to leave the next day, but we needed a bit of food and drink. Bistrot Cinq was perfect. . . great glass of wine and mojito! The French Onion soup was delicious as was the warm beet salad. And, the bread was delicious as well. The manager speaks lovely English and the friendly bartender let us practice our Spanish. We will go back to relax and enjoy the evening.

“Great French bistro”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 26, 2015

I enjoyed the atmosphere of this nice French bistro. It is popular with locals, both ex-pat and Guatemalan. Excellent menu that is well prepared by the kitchen staff.
The absinithe bar is an extra bonus.

“Good quality food & drinks, but only on weekends”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 23, 2015 via mobile

I have visited B5 for four years now and noticed that the quality of food (and drinks...size, choice of glass and generosity) varies between weekend and weekday. Recently was able to compare a Sat (high net worth locals & tourists) with the very following Mon (the other crowd)...exact same order was very different in quality. Specifically the calamari was pure rubber in garlic sauce. Having said that, service is always attentive and professional and atmosphere is one of the classiest in Antigua. They are overall pretty good even on a bad day.
