“Trip to remember”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 22, 2012

My wife and and just returned after spending 5 days at this spectacular hotel. It had been 14 years since last on this gem of an island and our stay at the "N" made it that much more memorable. I have read the other reviews and couldn't agree more regarding the amenities, well-appointed rooms, food and most of all, the staff. There was a genuine regard for their guests in every way possible. Had the opportunity to meet the owner, Mark, who couldn't have been more pleasant. It is a service oriented business and they have hit a home run! Couldn't imagine wanting to stay anywhere else.

We had a delightful stay at The Nantucket Hotel and Resort. When we first arrived we were met by Jaime who gave us a warm welcome. Next, we met Carlos who welcomed us and helped get us checked in. Our luggage was taken to our suite and we were amazed by the vastness, cleanliness and how efficient everything was. The sunroom turned out to be my husband's favorite place. He would lay on the daybed and let the morning sun warm him as he read.
Every meal in the restaurant 'Breeze' was prepared with expertise. The food was fresh and each meal we had (breakefast, lunch and dinner) was memorable to the palate. My favorites were the chef's specialty, a hamburger stuffed with lobster and a special sauce. Also, the fish and chips were the best I have ever tasted.
We loved Nantucket and found it to be quaint with a tremendous amount of history. The shops were tourist friendly and had many interesting things to purchase.
All in all, our experience was spectacular. Thank you to Fulya, Chad, Cindy, Fredrick and Page.
We hope to come back and have another stupendous adventure! Brenda E. Boulder City, Nv.

We stayed at the Nantucket Hotel the week of Labor day. We could not have been more pleased with the accommodations, the location and the service. We traveled with our 3 children (all 5 and under.) The kids particularly loved riding on the antique bus to the beach.

The location of the hotel is brillant for exploring this beautiful island, even though the season was beginning to end there was still plenty to see and do. My husband and I stayed for 3 nights in a studio suite which was spacious and very well presented, with everything you needed for a comfortable stay, including beach chairs and towels. The friendly staff could not have been more helpful they all seemed very determind to make everyones stay a pleasurable one. The Resturant and Bar prices are high but there are plenty of other options in town to suit any budget. Would recommend.

Room Tip: We did experiance noise from other guest rooms, despite hotel 9pm to 9am 'quiet' rule. Ask f...

My husband & I just returned from a very relaxing 4 night stay. We had a lovely clean suite (large!!) with excellent air conditioning, 2 TV's, kitchenette & great smelling shampoo/conditioner/etc amenities. The management here has clearly paid a a lot of attention to the little details that go toward making a visit very pleasant & relaxing. Carolyn, the concierge, was excellent & helped with many dinner reservations & bicycling suggestions. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful The hotel is well situated so that it is a short walk to town. There is easy free hotel shuttle transport to the nearby beaches, with beach chairs & towels included. Downstairs is a fitness room & pool table and there are guest laundry facilities (which I always appreciate when I'm traveling for anything more than a few days, especially when I have kids with me). The on-site restaurant, Breeze, provided a lovely breakfast (& supposedly has excellent chowder & lobster rolls, though sad to say we didn't get a chance to try them on this visit so it will have to wait till our next). When it was too windy for the beach, we sat on the front porch rockers & by the pool (a 2nd pool & a spa are in the planning stages), & ate the free 3:00pm chocolate chip cookies. All in all, we had a wonderful time here & will certainly return.

Room Tip: Look at the floor plans on the hotel's web site. The suites & rooms are all different with i...

If you want a pool and place to work out this is the place to stay. If you want romantic and a view there are other spots on the island I think you would be better suited. We had a cute suite, staff helpful and nice. Concierge nice but she seemed a bit overwhelmed, she also was not as educated as I thought she would be on island restaurants. For the price they could give you a newspaper. I found it insulting we had to pay for the paper. For this price you could put the Boston Globe under the door. Nice location, work out space and lobby.

Room Tip: No refunds so make sure you are certain your going.

We stayed here for two nights on our honeymoon when it first opened and we were absolutely blown away. Our room was large and delightfully appointed, and the staff could not possibly have been more friendly or accommodating. It was a very pleasant experience from check-in to check-out. Highly recommend.
