I am relaying the comments of friends who stayed at this inn. They have limited internet access and asked me to let everyone know how much they enjoyed The Barnacle Inn. Although I did not stay here, after reading the following comments, I hope to visit one day!
"When planning a visit to Nantucket, we were first impressed with how welcoming Suzie was on the phone and how sincerely welcoming and accommodating she was in person. The Barnacle Inn is a beautiful old inn, tastefully decorated with water colors, oil paintings, quilts, seashells, nautical rugs, fresh flowers and bright white curtains blowing in the sea air. The owners obviously put a great deal of effort into keeping the inn naturally clean and fresh. The fabulous homemade breakfast with fresh fruit is served on the veranda (porch), in the garden or in the comfortable main sitting room with a library. We have stayed at many bed and breakfasts in the U.S., Canada and Europe, and the Barnacle Inn is the best B&B experience we've had. Several of the other guests we met have been returning annually to the inn for over 10 years. The Barnacle Inn has a great laid back, casual elegance, and we could not recommend it more.
Thank you, Suzie and Phil, for a great stay. We hope to see you again.
