“AMAZING B&B!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 20, 2014

We had a great stay at Union Street Inn. Amanda and Louise are fabulous hosts. I highly recommend the blueberry pancakes and the afternoon cookies. The entire staff was so welcoming. I would stay there again and again.
The room was lovely, the decorations were beautiful, the breakfast was to die for. I cannot say enough great things about Union Street.

My wife and I will always remember our first visit to Nantucket as one of our best vacations ever and staying at Union Street Inn definitely made the difference. Perfect location, the staff is very professional, kind and accommodating, the bedrooms are beautiful and extremely clean, the breakfast in the courtyard is delicious and prepared fresh every morning with a different serving. The Inn is managed extremely well by the owners who put lot of attention to details. We cannot wait to come back!

I highly recommend Union Street Inn for a variety of reasons. The decor is very warm and inviting, reflecting the very best of neo-traditional Nantucket. The selection of beautiful linens, fabrics, wallpaper, etc., were all top-notch. The interior designer hit the nail on the head with her work.
The staff are excellent! Very service-oriented, professional, and So friendly, but never hovering. They went out of their way to be helpful.
The location, close to Main St, is very convenient to great shopping and restaurants.
A delicious full breakfast in the courtyard or in the gathering room is included, as well as afternoon tea, coffee, and homemade goodies.
Go back? Without hesitation!

My daughter and I usually stay at the White Elephant. Since it was full, I booked here and was concerned we'd be disappointed with the lack of amenities, location or such. NOT THE CASE. I would highly recommend this hotel and now must say it a close toss up where I'd stay - and this may win over White Elephant. The owners are so very kind. The rooms are beautiful, linens are crisp and beds are so "fluffy" and my daughter would say. Each morning we'd have a fantastic breakfast and enjoy reading the paper in the courtyard. Then head off for our short walk - as in only a few blocks - in town. The afternoon tea is a perfect pick up after a long day of walking and shopping.

My husband and I enjoyed a quick getaway at the Union Street Inn June 11 - 13th. Despite the fact that it was not quite the busy season yet and we were there Wednesday through Friday the inn was full, and I can see why! The inn is adorable and the location can't be beat. The staff was SO friendly and accommodating without being intrusive at all. The itinerary with the dinner reservations they made for us in advance was a nice touch. We had to switch rooms as they did not have the same room available two nights in a row and it was actually nice to be able to experience two different rooms. We had room 10 the first night which had a king and slightly larger bath, and room 7 the second, which had a queen and a smaller bath. Both were great. We did feel as if we had more privacy in 7 as it was towards the back of the inn and the bathroom in room 10 overlooked the patio where everyone has breakfast. Nice to have a king bed though in 10 and the bathroom was definitely nicer here. The bathroom in 7 is quite small with no window, but we were told about this ahead of time - it is an older building so to be expected. Also to be expected, but still should be noted, was the fact that you do hear the comings and goings of your neighbors to some extent as this is an older inn, so if this bothers you the second floor rooms towards the back would be a better choice. Breakfast at the inn was delicious and so nice to be included in the room rate, although we did go to Black-Eyed Susan's one morning to have their phenomenal pancakes! White chocolate chip cookies served at the inn in the afternoon were so yummy and nice to have access to free coffee/tea/cold waters all day in the kitchen. We dined at American Seasons and Oran Mor while we were there and both were amazing. We biked to lunch at Something Natural one day (very cute and great sandwiches!) before heading to Cisco Beach and grabbing beers at the Cisco Brewery. Cocktails at The Proprietors were delicious in a very cool setting, and The Boarding House had the liveliest later night bar scene. Union Street Inn is easy walking distance to everything in town. All in all such a wonderful stay - can't wait to come back someday!

Room Tip: Second floor rooms towards the back of the inn offer more privacy. Rooms 1 and 3 on the first floor...

What a gem. It is in the perfect location, just 100 yards from Main Street but just far enough to be quiet and out of the fray! Good breakfast and great people. Small bathrooms, but it dates to 1770 so not a lot that can be done about that. It has all of the modern amenities and is beautifully decorated. Highly recommend it!

Really enjoyed our stay at the Union Street Inn. Quaint but well appointed hotel right in the middle of town. Cute little courtyard to breakfast in. Cozy room, albeit a bit small, very very comfortable bed. The one way this place stands head and shoulders above others is the amazing cooked to order breakfast (included in the price of the room), it was delicious and highlight of our trip. Water pressure in the shower was superb as well, but really the breakfast made this place extra special.
