“Love it!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 13, 2012

We have been to Sangria's twice now. The first with teenager children and friends. the second time was a date night.
You could go and spend little on drinks and apps, or spend a great deal on the entire experience.
Things we loved: The Portuguese Passion Sangria, its light and fruity and tropical. The steak tips. The Presunto Macaroni and Cheese. The Caril De Galinha (Curry Chicken, not too spicy but you can ask if you'd like it spicier) The saffron rice. The Pimentos Recheados Stuffed peppers. Azeitonas, olive platter ( a lot of olives, too much for only a couple of olive lovers, you will take some home). Caril De Camarão, curry shrimp.
Things we liked, but probably wouldn't order again: Empanadas De Atum, tuna in pastry. It reminded me of a tuna casserole made from canned tuna. however the pastry shell was delicious. I enjoyed it, but wouldn't order again.
Things we did not care for: Farinheira, Chouriço E Morcela ( the portugeuse sausage) It was very disappointing. tough and fatty.
The desserts are incredible, and the cappuccino was the best I've had in a long time!
The service was great, and the atmosphere fun. We will be back!

“great way to try new things”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 5, 2012

Being a tapas bar, everything comes in small( er) portions so you can try alot of different things for less money. We tried 5 dishes, 2 cocktails and coffee for under 50. AND they give you a glass of white port after dinner.. on the house.
The down sides: it was almost TOO dark in there ( atmosphere is one thing but I don't like when you can't see the menu) Parking isnt easy.. at all..and it was absolutely freezing in there. I love AC but it was FAR too cold. Food was good, interesting enough that we will go back and try more things.. oh .. and the bartender was attentive and pleasant and patient while we tried to decide what to get ( we came home with alot, maybe only 3 choices would be plenty) The owner also came out and checked on us to see if we were happy.. nice touch

“Worth the trip!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 4, 2012 via mobile

Everything started out fine with a little trouble GPS wise for companions. Great hummus and pita chips but don't label them "healthy"; think pita fries. I would go back again even though a waiter put someone else's crab cakes on our table, our waiter declared them a "freebie" for us and then proceeded to take them back to the kitchen. When they appeared shortly thereafter being delivered to the next table, I was not impressed at all. I'd still go back but watch my food deliveries.

“Walk on home run”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 20, 2012 via mobile

Okay, these guys are not in a major metropolitan area. but if you ever find yourself in Attleboro Massachusetts this is the place to stop.

If you have never had tapas before? Why haven't you? and if you haven't or you have, this is the place to be!

I tried the Quail, and I also tried the
chicken gizzards. Gizzards need a little work albeit they are a tough dish! The beef puff pastry to die for!

Great atmosphere. Great prices. Great service.

“Fabulous neighborhood gem”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 8, 2012 via mobile

Just returned from a fabulous meal at Sangria's with my husband. It was truly a wonderful experience in so many ways. The owner greeted us and brought us to our table and our server was his sister .She was so helpful with many suggestions, all of which were great. We had four tapas which was plenty for us. The dish of marinated olives was really good with a medley of various high quality olives. The chick peas with spinach and chorizo was very tasty. We also had the shrimp with coconut milk and curry which was outstanding! And the pica pau, beef, pork, chicken, chourizo and marinated veggies in a spicy sauce was delicious. We shared a dessert, Aletria, sort of a rice pudding but made with angel hair pasta and served with whipped cream and blackberries was "the cherry on the sundae"!!! The sangria is also wonderful. The menu has so many choices including full-sized entrees and there are daily specials too. Will definitely go back. It truly is a neighborhood gem!
