“Charming and Elegant”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 15, 2014

The Blackington Inn is about as close as you can come to finding a diamond in the rough. The combination of charm, elegance and history are extremely appealing. The dining areas are quaint, clean, comfortable and clean. The Inn is at its best around the Christmas season, it's absolutely beautiful. The carriage house is ideal for small to mid sized parties and the outdoor patio area is simply gorgeous. It doesn't hurt that food is fantastic and served by a top notch wait staff.

“Treasure in the City”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 15, 2014

The Colonel Blackinton Inn is TOPS for a delicious meal and great attention to the details of customer service. make your reservations weeks in advance because this treasure has been discovered by many! My husband and I have hosted family events in their carriage house, and its bed & Breakfast has been out home-away-from-home many times over the years! We just love this place!

“The best place to eat in Attleboro”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 27, 2014

Tony and Kim Canova have done an amazing job with the Inn. The rooms are lovely, the carriage house is great for parties, and the restaurant has a wonderful ambiance. The wait staff is very friendly and helpful. They know the menu very well and can assist you in making your choices if you wish. The entrees, as well as the specials are always very creative and delicious. We've never had bad service or a bad meal at the Inn. The wine list is extensive, the warm bread and olives brought to the table after you order are delicious, and the food is wonderful. We try to stop in for dinner at least once a month. Try it - you'll enjoy it.
In the summer months there is a two piece band that plays outside and they play at Sunday brunch as well. It's lovely sitting outside after dinner listening to Tony and his partner.

“Elegance and ambiance in Attleboro, Ma.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 26, 2014

Enjoy an elegant evening at The col. Blackiington Inn. From the time that you drop off your car for valet parking until you pick it back up for your drive home, your dining experience is exquisite. The initial greeting by the staff at the desk, Kim always seems to be greeting us, is welcoming as into their home. The waitstaff, including Bernard, Feras, Deb and Justin, will give you the best attentive dining time. A menu of quality and ample servings suggests that no one will leave unsatisfied.
Go, enjoy. A classic venue in Attleboro, Ma.

“Wonderful food in a charming, quaint, historical Inn!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 18, 2014

I love this place! The Inn is a piece of history, and the charm of the place is very appealing. The dining rooms are very pretty, clean, homey and relaxing. And the food is wonderful! The only drawback that I have encountered is that because the dining rooms are small and intimate, some guests occasionally talk too loud which can be annoying. (I wonder why certain people want everyone in the room to know their business??) But that is a small price to pay for the great food and atmosphere. The parking lot is small, but there is valet parking. One can also park at the CVS next door and walk the short distance to the Inn on a nice day. In the summer, there is a jazz combo that plays outside on Sundays during brunch. A nice addition, and the grounds are beautiful in the warm weather, but I always eat inside (don't like bugs.)
