The appetizers, in particular the fried avocados, are fantastic and a bit different than what you find at your typical Mexican joint. Drinks are also a great value (mojitos are super).
However, the entrees left something to be desired. Some awkward flavor combinations, some dishes with lack of flavor, and the price is fairly expensive for what you get. I'd much rather go to some place like Anna's Taqueria. I know it's a different experience, but Anna's is a far better value and better taste.
I'd come back to this place to grab apps and drinks and kind of eat tapas style. However, I feel most US restaurants try to rush you and don't let you order 1 app at a time and then just leave after 2 or 3 apps so you can eat somewhere else. They try to keep you there...and Acitron definitely seemed ready to rush us to order more...even though NO ONE was in the restaurant.
Friendly service none the less, in particular one of the girls there. The guys were the ones that were kind of pushy/rushing.
