“Great place to stop for a quick breakfast ...”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 13, 2013

Heard about the omelets here so of course had to try it out. Shawsheen Luncheonette is a small but cozy place. The staff & owner are very helpful and friendly. We ordered 2 omelets with home fries & bacon. The omelets are 3 egg ones so I asked for mine to be made with less egg. THEY ARE HUGE! I had the veggie one & was completely overwhelmed by the size of it. It was the size of an 8 x 4 loaf pan & equally as high. The homefries were well cooked & the bacon was delicious! My only negative comment was that our coffee cups were never refilled. They serve breakfast all day & have some very interesting looking lunch options. If you are ever in Andover don't hesitate to stop here you won't be disappointed.

“Love the Shawsheen Luncheonette!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 25, 2013

The best breakfast you will ever have! Service is good and friendly, food comes right off the grill to the table in no time. I've also had lunch there - it's diner food at it's best (it's all perspective people!) Try the tuna melt, it's to die for! As for the negative comments, people, control your children! If you can't come to a small intimate diner and keep your kids occupied with something other than the condiments at the table then don't come!

“What a find!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 26, 2012

Great food. Very responsive service. Easy to find. Locals come here. Open for breakfast and lunch. I had corned beef hash - homemade from real corned beef. My husband had their house omelet with huge chunks of meat and veggies. We'll surely come back here.

“Great Breakfast”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 14, 2012

Went to Andover, MA to visit the cousins. We were staying nearby and looked up The Shawsheen Luncheonette as a possible breakfast venue. When we mentioned this to my cousin, he jumped at the chance to join us as it's his local favorite. Not much to look at, but the food and service was fabulous. Large and scrumptious pancakes, tasty bacon, sausages, eggs cooked all ways were just some of the food we enjoyed. Just what you'd want for a simple breakfast. Lunch is supposed to be as good, but we didn't make it there for that.

“American breakfast at its best...”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 5, 2012

Read recommendations for TripAdvisor and visited the place few times in August. Few times means that you cannot find better one in the area. Traditional american breakfast served in 60- 70'ies style environment. Good service and excellent value for money.
