“Not your typical suburban restaurant”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 11, 2013 via mobile

More refined than what you would expect in Andover. Portions are more "european style" (especially the cheeses, which are deliciously associated to a variety of mustards and other contrasting flavors). The restaurant is a bit pricey, but if you like food more sophisticated than average, this is an excellent choice. Desserts are very original, both in terms of flavors and presentation.

“Chic Eats”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 4, 2013

A restaurant worthy of a major city; Brasserie 28 is situated in tony Andover. The cocktails are delicious. The cheese plate (we selected three American cheeses) were absolutely excellent, though small in portion size. We also had the foie gras which melted in our mouth. My entree was pork three ways and was delicious. Each section had been crisped, roasted and finished to perfection. If you live anywhere near Andover, you must visit. Great food, great atmosphere.

“Not bad, but a tad overpriced.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 25, 2013

The restaurant offers great cuisine, especially the cheeses and charcuterie plates. Yet, I've experience similar places and quality for cheaper prices. All the food is very good and very fresh, but for what you pay for, you can get a more stellar meal in Boston.

Overall, my gf and I enjoyed eating here, but may just come back for drinks and the bar menu. They have great wine selection too.

“LOVE this restaurant!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 19, 2013

love, love, love this restaurant! FINALLY Andover has gotten a restaurant with good food. Allison and Matt are the best! The food is ALWAYS fantastic. At times, the service leaves something to be desired, but the amazing food makes up for it. So happy to have a restaurant like this in downtown Andover.
