“Interesting menu, average service”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed April 8, 2013

Crowded, not enough seating, slow service, but good music at Sunday brunch. This place had that mish-mash feel with furniture that seemed like odds and ends in a shabby, not-too-clean setting. Food was all right, but nothing to rave about....

“Decent breakfast spot!”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed February 25, 2013

Had breakfast at this small artsy breakfast restaurant on a Saturday morning in February. The place was very busy, but we only had to wait about fifteen minutes to be seated. The menu was interesting and creative and the food was excellent. The atmosphere was good although some of the table are very close together. Our server took no ownership over our table as I had to raise my hand to get her attention for everything. I asked for more coffee and was told that some one would be making the rounds with coffee at some point. I asked how the oat toast was on the menu and the server's response was that she couldn't tell me as she doesn't eat white bread. Lame service!

“Good food and service”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 3, 2013

Pancakes were really good and the Santa Fe omelette had a great sauce.

Service was prompt and at least around 8:30 in the morning, there was no wait at all to be seated (on a Saturday). I'd go back for the pancakes and omelette!

“Lone Wolf needs some competition”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed October 29, 2012

I'm convinced this place is so popular because Amherst Center has almost no other breakfast options. My scrambled eggs were partly raw, as were my hash browns, and in my opinion, there's nothing much grosser than undercooked potatoes. The guy at the counter was friendly, but he couldn't keep up with the crowd, and the service wasn't particularly good. The next time I'm in Amherst at brunch time, I'll wait a little while longer and go somewhere for lunch. I suppose if you're a college student, this food might be better than what you get in the dorms.
