I went there with a friend a couple of weeks ago, late on a Sunday afternoon. Wasn't sure what to expect at first, so didn't have high hopes. We arrived around 4PM for a late lunch/early dinner. Not too many patrons at that time, so the mood was relaxed. They have a large menu with lots of seafood, and it was a decision for me between linguine and clam sauce or chicken parmesan. I eventually decided on the chicken and my friend had seafood lasagna, which was a special that evening. My dish came with a giant bowl of pasta as well, and we both got more than we could eat at one sitting, so of course, we asked for "doggie bags". Chicken was delicious, crispy breading, lots of tomato sauce and gooey cheese. While I'm not a connoisseur of Italian food, I do enjoy it on occasion, and this meal passed the test for me. My friend said his was excellent also. Both meals came with salad and garlic bread, so we had something to keep us busy until the main dishes arrived -- in a timely fashion.
The wait for food was not unacceptable, the service was attentive, and the prices were reasonable. As the time got closer to the regular dinner hour, the place started to fill up, and by the time we left, people were lined up outside the door.
It was like going to the North End without the hassle of traveling, traffic and parking. We'll definitely be back !!
