I will give five stars to the Lowes Annapolis hotel for their friendly and courteous staff, location convenient to walking downtown and being located on the trolley route. I can only give three stars for the actual room, which would have been satisfactory for a $100/night hotel, but was much less than I expected for $300/night. The hallways had a strange musty odor, the one bedroom suite was large enough and comfortable, but the only bathroom was located in the bedroom; meaning family members/guests in the living room had to come in the bedroom where I was sleeping to use the facilities. Also, wireless was not included in the $300/night price, nor was the $20/day self parking in an unpaved lot behind some dumpsters. I expected more. However, again, kudos to the lobby and front desk staff, they were exemplary.
