“Great Stay”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 14, 2013

This is a beautiful, modern, top notch hotel. Very clean, beautiful rooms, plenty of space. I would definitely recommend this hotel and I would stay here again. The staff were helpful with my request for mailing a package. I did not eat in the hotel as there were some very nice restaurants very close to the hotel-walking distance. I found the staff to be friendly and helpful.

We're delighted to hear that you enjoyed your recent stay with us. We're glad you were able to take advantage of our downtown location and experience the many nearby local restaurants. On your next stay, we invite you to dine at WEST Kitchen & Tavern located adjacent to our lobby which serves locally sourced, seasonal fare. We look forward to welcoming you back to Loews Annapolis upon your return to the area!

My wife and I, along with our 2 year old son spent 4 nights here (Thu-Mon) and really enjoyed it. The hotel is very well located, only a good 5 minute walk from Main Street. We never needed to use the complimentary city shuttle that runs between West Street and downtown because it was so close. All of the staff were extremely friendly and always asking if they could offer any information or directions. On arrival, Sean greeted us at the front entrance, escorted us to our room along with our luggage and was very friendly knowledgable about the local area. The woman who worked at the entrance/exit to the parking area was also very friendly and always asked if we needed any information or directions on our way out of the parking area (on the occasions where we would be driving someplace that was not within the local area). We did the self-parking option for $20/day instead of the valet parking for $23/day. The hotel was very clean and we were very happy with our room (#402). The room was larger than I expected, which was a plus since we had to have the hotel provide a crib for our son, so even with the crib tucked into the entry way by the door, we still had a TON of space in the room. Bed and pillows were comfy and the bathroom was up to date, spacious and nice looking. We did not eat any meals at the hotel, but did have some drinks at the restaurant (West) on the lobby level on a couple of occasions. It seemed to do a pretty good business at night. It's also got some outdoor seating overlooking West Street, so we were able to take advantage of that one afternoon while it was sunny and warm. We will definitely stay here again next time we are in Annapolis and highly recommend it to anyone.

WEST Kitchen & Tavern recently underwent a complete renovation and we're thrilled that you were able to enjoy drinks at the bar. The outdoor patio is a wonderful place to relax in warmer months and we hope you will return over the summer when the city's foliage makes the ambiance even better! As you continue to travel with your son, we also invite you to take advantage of our Loews Loves Kids program. All of Loews' kid-friendly hotels offer a variety of unique programs and services, including lending libraries of games, special children's menus and supervised recreational programs. We thank you for choosing Loews Annapolis and look forward to seeing you and your family again soon!

Overall very good service and good food for my meeting. There was a bit of mildew in the shower which surprised me. Also the front desk had great difficulty getting my name correct in the system and even after I went to the front desk to ensure the correct information was provided my name still seemed to be incorrect. Also very very odd that there wasn't an outside view for the room.

If the weather is bad, the valet parking is worth the extra $. Self parking is all outside. The fitness center has individual tvs in the cardio equipment. There's a tiny tv icon you need to press on the screens in order for the tv to show up on the screen. It's easy to miss. The bed was very comfortable. There were bathrobes and an umbrella in my room. The umbrella came in handy. The lobby is very modern. The outdoor patio off the bar looks very inviting for a nice afternoon. I was there for a meeting onsite. The food we tasty and the fruit-infused water was absolutely delicious. The staff was very helpful. The locals in the bar were very friendly.

Let's start off by saying the parking is not free unless you have a coupon for it. Self parking is about $20 a night and Valet Parking overnight is more than that. There is city garage parking available too, but you'll have to walk. Parking attendant Ms. Pat was wonderful and kind! Our checkin was scheduled for 4pm but they let us check in around 2 instead. That was very nice of them. We liked the room. The beds were comfortable and it was clean. Somehow, someone over looked the fact that the vents below the windows were left open and our room was freezing. The walls need more insulation. The people next door to us were up talking around 11pm and it felt and sounded as if they were behind a curtain in our room. That is not cool. I felt like I was eaves dropping in on their conversation. If you are going to a large event at the hotel, definitely stay there at the Loews. The new bar and restaurant renovations are beautiful.

We regret to hear that the vents were left open in your room. Our staff meticulously inspects each room prior to check-in and we sincerely apologize for this oversight. We are also sorry that you were kept awake by the noise level on your floor. Should this happen again, please contact the Front Desk who can assist in monitoring the disruption or try their best to relocate you to a quieter room. We appreciate your kind words regarding our newly renovated bar and hope to welcome you back to Loews Annapolis soon!

We stayed at this hotel for 5 days in february. At first we were happy with the hotel but the last night the hotel hosted an event playing loud music until 11 o'clock at night.
We had a small child with us and had to get up at six for a long drive.
The hotel only said sorry when tried to point out that we did not want to stay up until 11.
I have never encountered such nonchalans at a hotel before.

My husband and I stayed here the weekedn after Valentine's Day. The hotel is in great shape, hotel employees very nice, especially the Valet staff. We had a drink in the bar area, very nice bar.
The room was spacious. Very quiet, no doors slamming which was great. The bed was very comfy.
Only 2 "negatives," one, the fan made lots of noise so we had to turn that off and the bathroom only has one sink which made for tight quarters when we were trying to get ready to go out.
Other than that I would stay here again!!

We are honored to have hosted you and your husband during such a special weekend! We are thrilled to hear that you found our staff to be friendly and helpful. As you may or may not know, our bar recently completed a renovation and we're delighted that you enjoyed the new decor. We apologize for the noisy fan in the bathroom - our engineers are happy to examine those types of issues should you encounter that during your next stay. We appreciate your feedback and hope to see you again soon!
