“We Love the HGI!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 25, 2013

Even though we were in the room for only a couple of hours, it was nice to have somewhere to change and rest following my friend's wedding. We had absolutely no problems! The staff was very nice and personable, the room was clean and comfortable, and the location was a manageable distance to Downtown Annapolis.

A nice hotel with professional and friendly staff. Sits close to freeway and approximately 12 minutes from downtown Annapolis. Rooms are nicely furnished with newer furniture, flat-screen TV, coffee maker and refrigerator. Very clean and good maid service. Nice work out facility with dumbbells and aerobic equipment. Cons: Marshmallow bed with ineffective firmness control on side of the mattress. Also memory foam mattress that was hot. Loud and windy air conditioning. Inadequate sound proofing in ceiling. (you could hear people walking and talking in room upstairs.) In room coffee was like Folgers and lobby coffee was about the same. Nearest Starbucks about 8 minute drive. I expected more for the price.

Spent Easter weekend at the Hilton Garden Inn. Very enjoyable stay. It appeared that their staff was reduced because of the holiday, but those that worked went out of their way to make our stay pleasant. Believe it or not, the desk manager came over to the breakfast area to serve coffee to the guests eating breakfast on Easter morning.

Zippety do da....into downtown Annapolis - like 10 minutes away. Great location for all kinds of shopping, night time activities and tons of restaurants. Come back and relax to warm cookies. We were there in April so it was too soon to use the pool but they have a exercise room that had a nice selection of machines. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Our room was right next to a family with two noisy young children and they quickly changed it to a room farthest away. The TV experienced a glitch with the colour and a service rep was up in no time to correct the problem. The environment was fresh and clean. Breakfast was excellent - everything imaginable was available!!! Coffee/tea is 24/7. We would definitely return to this hotel.

Room Tip: try the third floor so you won't experience any heavy traffic sounds

The location is great for taking in the best of Annapolis. Located near the mall and many restaurants and about 15 minutes from downtown. The rooms are very clean and the staff are all friendly. Most stations I have ever encountered on a hotel tv! For an "old school" French meal try Les Foilles, practically across the street. The meals and service are always excellent! Make sure to get the frites!

This hotel is in a great location to shopping, food and hwy 301/50. Like any Hilton Garden Inn, you can not go wrong. I can not think of 200 characters I have to write about this hotel to submit my review, so all I will tell you, if you stay in Annapolis this is a great hotel to stay at and I will be staying here again.

Staff was incredible! Room was clean and comfortable. Bed in Room 202 was a nightmare. Mattress was hard as a rock with a huge indendentation on left side. Valves on the mattress were broken, so comfort level was zero. We arrived close to 11 pm and were exhausted from being on the road for 16 hours, and quite frankly didn't have the energy to redress, repack, and ask for a room change. Had the bed been in good operating order, or somewhat comfortable it would have been a five star review,

Room Tip: Room 202 had a very poor quality mattress.
