“Amazing food! Can get crowded, worth the wait”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 5, 2013

We've been here twice now, we take visitors if we are in the Annapolis area with them. Breakfast is fantastic. Can get clogged with long waits on Sundays, FYI. But if you are willing to wait you won't be dissappointed. Decent to good service (depending on your server, some a bit moody, most are lovely).

Egg benedicts are tasty as well as the omelets and pancakes. Fresh ingredients, great quaint atmosphere, good drip coffee (for coffee addicts you'll appreciate I wrote this!). They don't rush you either, feel free once you are seated to just take your time, even if there is a long wait--they don't rush you which is super nice. Enjoy your breakfast.

“Nice Neighborhood Spot with Great Food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 1, 2013

Hidden in a shopping center, this restaurant is run by a local caterer and is a great neighborhood spot with terrific food when you're not in the mood to travel far. Wait staff is very attentive and the noise level is minimal to average.

“The Main Ingredient is one of my favorites!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 8, 2013

The Main Ingredient is a fantastic place for Lunch or Dinner! The food is wonderful, the service is great and the atmosphere is lovely. Their soups and salads are just perfect for lunch. My favorite is the Cafe' salad. I also love the curried chicken salad! If you go for lunch, parking can be tricky, as it is a very busy parking lot, so get there early or go for a late lunch. The dinner menu has a wonderful selection of dishes all cooked to perfection. Whatever you do, save room for dessert - they are incredible! The prices are very reasonable for what you get - fresh, delicious food and great service. It's a little out of the way of the tourist areas in Annapolis, but it's definitely worth checking it out, whether you are a local or just visiting Annapolis.

“A nice dinner”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed April 27, 2013 via mobile

Food and service were good. Felt that the table was a little cramped. The Hungarian soup was a highlight.

“Good lunch, good service”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 14, 2013

We were only in Annapolis for the day and needed a lunch spot. This restaurant was recommended by the staff of the Quiet Waters park that is nearby. We had wraps, coffee, and shared a slice of cake. Everything was great except the cake seemed a bit dry. We ordered a takeout for a family member who was at home and it was ready lickety-split. The price of the meal was reasonable and the service was good. If I lived in the area, I'm sure I would be a regular.
