My girlfriend and I wanted to get away for a few days and chose Annapolis quite randomly, and when checking out places to stay decided on the Westin. Got a great deal from calling Starwood Hotels directly--we got the impression that not a lot of people were flocking to Annapolis on a random Monday in April. We were both extremely happy with our choice.
Everything about our stay was easy. The hotel was easy to get to, it took about four minutes from the time we pulled into the valet circle until the time we were checked in and had everything brought up to our room. The decor for the entire place is uber modern and swanky, and everything felt brand new. We could tell that the Westin's 'Go Green' theme wasn't just a superficial thing by the minute touches, from their availability of bicycles to their housekeeping policies.
Parking costs $10 per day, and once you're there you don't need to drive anyway since the touristy area of West and Main streets begins about a block down from where the Westin is (about a 10-15 min walk down to the water) AND the shuttle was available to drop us off or pick us up whenever we wanted it.
Overall, we'd gladly stay there again, and highly suggest it.
