This is a really nice hotel. The stafff is kind and friendly. The room was modern, clean, well stocked and comfortable. Our only regret was paying for the wifii but oh well. All and all a great hotel. Food was excellent also in restuarant.
Not very far to walk to downtown and the Naval Yard. You can find other places to park if you dont want to pay the fees to come and go, but we did, just made it one less thing to deal with. The pool was nice also. Great stay and reasonably priced.

The hotel is still pretty new so the rooms and everything in them are still clean and in good working order. The location was perfect too. My boyfriend and I went during the Fourth of July so the old downtown area by the water got a bit hectic and it was nice to be removed from it at the end of the day. But it was close enough that walking down to the water or taking the bus was a breeze. We didn't eat at the hotel since there were great restaurants just around the corner. You do have to pay for parking as some reviewers mentioned but it was really cheap so that was never an issue. The rate was very reasonable to the quality and service of the hotel. Next time we might check out the older hotels for the experience but if you're looking for a nice, no thrills hotel then the Westin is perfect!

Good location, clean room. Too many miscellaneous lights on at night for sleepers who like a dark room. Had to cover up several lights with towels and menus. Requested a wake up call in person at the desk while checking in. The call never came.

Wasted money on parking for one night only to discover later we did not need to pay (free on weekends)? No one said a word to us when we checked in about this.

Room Tip: Higher rooms get less street noise.

Spent our 1st anniversary weekend at the Westin this past weekend 8/31-9/2. This is a beautiful hotel. It is located up West St., a moderate walk away from all the activity down around the dock area. There is a free shuttle that runs every 15 minutes and takes you straight through the heart of the business/ tourist area. The hotel is very well run and check in and check out were a breeze. We would definitely return to the Westin.

Room Tip: would seem any room would be fine. Maybe if you don't like cemeteries outside your window you co...

After spending an entire day flying across the country and arriving at a hotel at 8:00 pm, it's the little things that count. This hotel was wonderful. Very good location near the main streets of Annapolis. Staff was wonderful and I enjoyed good conversation with the bartenders over my delicious salmon dinner at the bar. Lovely lobby with new and clean decor. Room and bathroom were large. In the morning, you can either eat in the restaurant, or get a smaller breakfast from the Starbucks stand in the lobby.

My only gripe was the gym. It was decent, but a bit small. WIth 6+ people in there, the humidity and temperature was far higher than any of us wanted. If it had been larger, and cooler, this would have been a 5-circle rating.

I will definitely stay here next time I am in the area.

Room Tip: Ask for a room that doesn't face the cemetery.....unless you find that charming.

Recently stayed at the Westin for a long weekend and, as usual, we had a great time. Although the hotel is on West Street, they have a free trolley-bus shuttle to take you to the waterfront area. Over the past 5+ years, West Street has also become very lively, with lots of excellent restaurants. Also, just across from the hotel is an excellent Italian restaurant, which shares a large outdoor eating area with an Irish bar/restaurant. Our room was clean, quiet and a very nice size. The lobby bar was under renovation (mid-July), but is probably done by now. Looking forward to our next visit, possibly in mid-September and we will stay at the Westin.

Room Tip: We ask for a quiet room when making our reservations, and that seems to put us at the end of the hal...
