“Picturesque!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 28, 2014

Narrow main streets, historic brick buildings, as well as the historic homes are a great see. Walking Main street could give you a small sense of what this town was like in the 1800's. It takes a bit of imagination, though, due to the cars and the shops. Looking up main street to see St. Anne's church at the top of the hill is a great photo op, as is the view of the Maryland State House and its dome from Francis Street.

“Trolley tours of Historic Annapolis”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 25, 2014

We took the 40 minute Trolley Tour. And not only did the driver give us a good history of Annapolis in an air-conditioned trolley, but also pointed out the different styles of architecture in the old buildings all over Annapolis. There is also a 60 minute tour, but we were quite happy that we had Gordon as our docent.

“Beautiful!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 22, 2014

Went on a getaway with my husband and stayed downtown at Gibson's Lodgings. Beautiful town with lots of history. Main Street has many shops and restaurants with outdoor dining. The waterfront is clean with areas to sit and watch the boats come in. The naval academy is just steps away. Took a trolley tour of city during the day.

So much history in a small area. Cute little shops. Great eateries. Very waljer friendly. All roads lead to the church!
