We had an enjoyable stay in this hotel some years ago, so we chose it again, and we weren't disappointed. Our room was excellent and the staff were very friendly and helpful, as before, but the big surprise was how much the location of the hotel has improved. It's on West Street, within an easy walk of the downtown area, but the whole area around the hotel has improved out of all recognition. Now there are trendy restaurants and shops just across the street, a super new Irish pub called 'Fado' a few yards away, and the whole street looks cleaner and more part of the downtown area.
We liked the friendly attention to our needs, from the manager to the shuttle bus driver - everyone seemed to want us to enjoy Annapolis!
Our only criticism is that there was no mini-bar in our room, but this was a small price to pay for a relaxing and enjoyable stay.
