“Best location in Annapolis”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 6, 2014

Our visit to Annapolis centered on the Naval Academy and the waterfront, and the Academy B and B is just steps away from both. We stayed in the Academy View room, which is attractive and comfortable, and we especially appreciated the bathroom suite with Jaccuzzi and steam shower. Miguel made sure we were comfortably settled in, and cooked the large, delicious breakfasts. Being near the center of Annapolis nightlife, there was some noise on the street at night, but it was not too disturbing, even for country folk like ourselves. We will definitely choose this B and B for future visits to Annapolis.

Miguel is the best. He will cater to your every need, including preparing a delicious breakfast. The rooms are amazing with a spa like bathroom and comfy, clean beds. Includes free parking and close to walk everywhere. We highly recommend and can't wait to come back and see Miguel!

My sister found out about The Academy B+B through tons of positive ratings from wedding websites, and our experience surpassed all of our expectations!

This was my first time planning a bachelorette party, and John, the owner, was a true true pleasure to work with. He helped me think through all of the special parts of the bachelorette weekend and all the things to do in Annapolis. He even made dinner reservations for the weekend.

The Academy is located right in town in Annapolis, short walking distance to all the good stuff to do, dock, and restaurants. The rooms are lovely and the breakfast is great! This is clearly a place that knows how to do B+B's right.

We even arranged a boat ride on John's boat to top off the bachelorette weekend with a classy booze cruise.

This place is a MUST for a lovely getaway weekend in the very down to earth and beautiful town of Annapolis, or for a phenomenal bachelorette weekend.

I had my bachelorette weekend celebration in Annapolis and we stayed at the Academy B&B. We had an absolutely wonderful weekend thanks to John (the owner). He helped us plan the entire weekend and was extremely responsive before and during our trip. He was able to provide restaurant recommendations and helped make sure we had reservations. Breakfast at the inn was delicious as well! We used his sail boat rental service and spent around 3-4 hours sailing around the Annapolis area which was both relaxing and a very fun time. Overall, it was a great weekend and the location was perfectly located in the heart of Annapolis. I definitely plan to return to the Academy B&B in the near future!!

This was our first stay at a bed and breakfast and our first visit to Annapolis. The gentleman who made the reservation was very helpful and even kept in touch up until our arrival so he could have Miguel outside to assist witharking. Miguel is extremely hospitable! He helped us park (free parking!) in their courtyard, upgraded us to a better room (more on this in a minute), explained how everything in the room/house worked, and made an awesome breakfast! We stayed in the Academy View room. We had plenty of space, bed was very comfortable, and had a great private bathroom (jacuzzi tub for two, shower with multiple spigots/jets).
You can't beat the location of this house. We were not even a block away from downtown (waterfront, shops, bars, restaurants, etc.). We only stayed for one night, but will definitely be back for our next overnight trip to Annapolis. We highly recommend this bed and breakfast!

My wife and I wanted to see the cherry blossoms without staying in DC. I choose this inn because of the reviews and location. I must say it was superb, the rooms are very nice and the steam shower for two is worth the cost. We could visit DC during the day and experience Annapolis in the evening. Great food and atmosphere for a short spring get away. Also the breakfast was outstanding, much more than I was expecting.

This was my wife and I's first experience at a bed and breakfast so we were excited and not knowing what to expect. The entire time, from making the reservation to our departure, I felt at ease and in good hands with the housemaster George. When we told him that we had to arrive early, before our room was even available, he said it was no problem and could leave our luggage in the living room as we explored Annapolis until the room was ready. The room was exquisite with furnishings that gave the room an old time aura and a large bathroom with a great sauna shower and jacuzzi bath tub. The breakfast prepared by the chef was fanstastic and flexible with the hours! We were so delighted with our first night that we asked to stay a second night, which was handled nicely by George again. After this experience we decided that it is now our goal to find a place that could possibly beat the Academy but have had no luck since. We cannot wait for our chance to come here again!
